Step 1: Create a Shopify Account

The first thing you need to do is create your own Shopify account. Creating a Shopify account is easy and will take only a few minutes.
Go to the official Shopify homepage and click “Get Started”. A popup page will reveal where you can add your email address, store name, and password.
You can use the 14-day free trial and create your store after that.
Shopify offers two options – you can build an online store or a retail store. Pick one option and start filling in your address information. At this point, you will setup currencies and tax rates. The page will also require your name, phone number, and address.
Once you are done – click Next to proceed.

Open New Cart2Cart User tab and add your email, full name, and desired password. This is a completely different account and it has no relation to your Shopify account or your personal login information.

Step 5: Add Sources and Target Carts

The Source Cart Setup is where you define where all your data is coming from. In your case – it is BigCommerce.
Don’t forget to paste in the domain name (the main URL) of your BigCommerce shop.
The migration requires you to retrieve the API Token and API Path from your previous account (BigCommerce account). Paste Token and API Patch into the fields required.
The Target Cart Setup is pretty easy. All you need to do is paste in the URL of your Shopify site.
